Capability 4/4
Operations, sustainability and supply chain consulting
Grow Responsibly, Lead Sustainably.
Footprint decisions outlive the leadership that makes them.

WHERE THIS USUALLY STARTS
The situations we recognize on the first call.
01
Your distribution footprint was built for a demand pattern that no longer exists.
02
You are carrying a market you should have exited two years ago.
03
Your supply chain has one path and no fallback.
04
Your sustainability report describes aspirations, not operations.
Sub-offerings
Process optimization and lean management
Waste taken out of the process by the people who run it, using Lean and the Toyota Way.
Procurement
Category strategy and supplier terms rebuilt around total cost, not unit price.
Global sourcing
Supply moved to the corridors that hold on cost, lead time and regulation together.
Business process outsourcing
Non core process run by an operator who is accountable for the service level.
Operations footprint design
Where plants, warehouses and people sit, decided against where the demand actually is.
Sustainability strategy mapped to UN Sustainable Development Goals
Supply chain consulting for international manufacturers
We run global sourcing corridors that flex between near and far sources, apply lean management principles to distribution networks, and document our retail and OEM placements as evidence of the work. Our international sourcing work spans china sourcing for private-label programmes and europe distribution through appointed national distributors, each held under contract with reporting obligations.
The engagement
What the work involves
An operations and sustainability engagement treats the footprint as a decision that outlives the leadership that makes it. The work covers process optimization and lean management, procurement, global sourcing, business process outsourcing, operations footprint design and sustainability strategy, but every decision is modelled against who services the retailer tomorrow, not just the cost removed today.
How the work runs
We begin by mapping the current footprint and the decisions each seam forces between the acquired operation and the parent. We place the in country network before we close the legacy arrangement, so the shelf never goes empty. Sourcing corridors are built to flex between near and far sources, each held under contract with reporting obligations. In steady state, the footprint serves the strategy, sourcing flexes when conditions change, and sustainability is stated in what is certified, not in numbers we cannot source.
What changes when it is working
The footprint serves the strategy instead of constraining it. Sourcing flexes when conditions change. The operating cost stops being a surprise every quarter because the decisions that drive it were made on purpose. And the supply decision is visible and reversible, not a one way bet.
Sustainability
Sustainable growth, represented.
Represented brands include re-refined base oil recovered from used oil and reprocessed into fully sustainable Group III product, manufactured in Germany and Florida under ISO 9001 with an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

FAQ
Questions before you sign
We model the footprint against the decisions it forces on the next leadership, not just the cost it removes today. Closing a distribution centre is a decision about who services the retailer tomorrow, so we place the in country network before we close the box.
We transitioned distribution across 14 countries in a seven month window with 100 percent of distributors and existing retailers transitioned. The method is to place market by market, in country, before the legacy arrangement is withdrawn, so the shelf never goes empty.

We represent re-refined base oil recovered from used oil and reprocessed into fully sustainable Group III product, manufactured under ISO 9001 with an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. We state what is certified and do not claim a carbon figure we cannot source.

A decision under uncertainty
Stanley Black & Decker had acquired an automotive line and had to move it out of legacy EMEA warehousing into a new distribution division. The trade-off was between speed and continuity, close the old centres fast and risk losing retailers, or transition slowly and carry double overhead. GLOWINT chose a seven-month window with 100% distributor and retailer transition. Five distribution centres closed. Not a single account was dropped.
WHERE THIS GOES NEXT
Where this usually starts.
A two-week diagnostic, on site, with your internal and external stakeholders. You get a written view of where the constraint actually sits, what it would take to move it, and whether we are the right firm to help. If we are not, we will say so.
